PRESETKEY
Delete your data
Last updated September 10, 2026.
PresetKey holds two things: a licence record on presetkey.com, and the social accounts you connect for Cross Upload. This page is how you remove either one, and what happens when you do.
Disconnect a social account
Open the Crosspost window in Premiere Pro, open the connected account, choose Details and press Disconnect.
Disconnect deletes the token stored on your computer and clears any upload profile that pointed at the account. If you connected the account on presetkey.com, the panel also tells the site to forget it: the site asks the platform to revoke the token and then deletes the account row from the database. If you connected the account inside the panel, nothing about it was ever stored on our servers, and the grant stays listed in your platform account until you revoke it there as well.
Revoke access at the platform
Google lists every app you have granted access to at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Instagram lists them under Apps and websites in its own settings, and TikTok under Manage app permissions. Revoking there stops PresetKey from posting even if a token survived somewhere.
Delete everything presetkey.com holds
Email ibra@presetkey.com from the address your licence key was sent to and ask for deletion. That removes the licence record (the email address, the licence status, the opaque device identifiers used for the two device limit, the activation date and the last verification time) and every connected account attached to it, which the database deletes along with the licence. The bug reports sent with your key go too, including the copies emailed to that inbox. We complete a deletion request within 30 days. Your licence key stops working when the record goes, so ask only if you mean it.
The clip staged for Instagram
Instagram fetches a Reel from a public link instead of accepting a file, so on that one path the panel puts a copy of that one clip on presetkey.com storage, at a link that cannot be guessed. The panel asks for the copy to be deleted as soon as Instagram answers, whether the post succeeded or failed, and the upload link it was issued expires after 30 minutes. Nothing else you render is uploaded to us: YouTube and TikTok receive the file straight from your computer.
Data on your own computer
The panel keeps your profiles, your key bindings and any tokens it holds under %APPDATA%\HyperKey. Removing the extension does not remove that folder. Delete it yourself to clear everything PresetKey has written to your machine.
What we cannot delete
A post that has already been published belongs to your account on that platform. Delete it there. We have no way to remove it for you, and we do not keep a copy.
Questions about any of this go to ibra@presetkey.com. What we collect and why is in the privacy policy.
