Free and beta keys

PresetKey needs a licence key to run, including the free version. A free key is emailed to the address you enter on presetkey.com/download. It costs nothing, works on one device, and unlocks the free version of PresetKey, including its daily use limit.

A beta key comes from PresetKey, or from an invite code redeemed at a $0 checkout. An invite code can expire and has a redemption limit. A beta key is a Lifetime licence for up to two of the licence holder’s devices. No payment is taken for it.

PresetKey can switch a free or beta key off at any time. A key that is switched off stops downloads, updates and activations, and the panel stops accepting it the next time it checks the key.

Pro licence

PresetKey Pro is a lifetime licence, not a subscription. You can pay for it in one payment, or in 12 monthly payments that add up to the one-time price, rounded up to the cent. The price is shown on presetkey.com, and the price shown at checkout is the price charged, plus any sales tax shown there. Stripe takes the payment, and your licence key is emailed when the first payment completes.

One payment: the licence is yours for good from that payment. Nothing renews and nothing more is charged.

12 monthly payments: the remaining payments are charged automatically, once a month, to the card you paid with. The plan ends by itself after the 12th payment, and the licence is then yours for good. If a payment fails, Pro keeps working for three days while Stripe retries it. If the plan is cancelled, or a payment still fails after the retries, no further payments are taken and the licence stops working at the end of the last month paid for. To cancel, email ibra@presetkey.com from the address the licence was issued to.

Refunds: you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of your first payment, for any reason, by emailing ibra@presetkey.com from the address the licence was issued to. On the 12-payment plan, a refund covers every payment made so far and cancels the rest. After 30 days, payments are not refundable, except where the law where you live gives you a right to one. A refund switches the licence key off.

If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of asking us for a refund, PresetKey may switch the licence key off while the dispute is open, and keep it off if the payment is reversed.

A key works on up to two of your devices. A device already activated on the key can activate again at any time. To move a key to another device, log out of PresetKey on the old one (Settings → Log out).
